Yogurt with Fruit on the Bottom– Most popular yogurts with fruit is like eating candy loaded with sugar. Get use to eating plain yogurt.
Whole Wheat bread– Most whole wheat breads have very little fiber. Look for whole wheat bread that has at least 4 grams of fiber per 100 calories.
Energy Bars– Many energy bars are not much better than candy bars. Try GNU bars they have 12 grams of fiber and only 140 calories.
Sport Drinks– Sport drinks are just sugar water. Drink them during or right after a workout as a recovery drink. Otherwise, drink water and herbal teas.
Low Fat Bran Muffin– Too many calories: up to 600 per muffin. If you have to have one, split it with a friend or eat half.
Tuna Fish Sandwich– Too much mayo; every tablespoon of mayo ads 100 calories of fat. Have seared tuna over salad instead.
Fruit Juice– Many juices have added sugar and are just too high in calories. Eat a piece of fruit instead.
Sliced Turkey – Processed turkey is way to high in sodium. Eat only fresh turkey.
Pretzel– Empty calories with sodium. Try air popped popcorn.
